How To Reset Change Oil Light On 2001 Chevy Silverado. It's fairly easy to reset the oil light on your chevrolet. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal slowly three times within five seconds.
The change oil light should begin flashing. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine). Press the mode button until the dic reads “oil life left/hold set to reset”.
